WATERFALL VALLEY JUCTION - BOWMONT PARK
NORTH WEST

OVERVIEW

Stairs at the intersection in the heart of Waterfall Valley wildlife park. Good condition and a decent height, but because of the rules of the area it's best to keep traffic/reps relatively low.

These can fit in very well to a larger park run. The park at large is relatively light on stairs. However it is still covered in hills, providing a great deal of elevation change over the course of a run.

In addition to the rules of the wider wildlife park (be respectful of the life around you, don't litter) this is also a quiet area.

GETTING THERE

Street parking near the stairs can be accessed by taking Crowchild to Silver Springs Gate NW. This will turn into Silver Ridge Drive, from which you'll turn left onto Silver Crest Drive directly above the park.

Suggested Parking:

Option 1
There is street parking available in the neighborhoods along the top of the park.

Option 2
There is a parking lot at the official entrance to the park. It would be our first choice, but it can only be accessed from southbound Bearspaw Dam Road NW.

(Google maps doesn't register this, which resulted in a minor traffic violation while scouting the spot)
