WATERFALL VALLEY STAIRS - BOWMONT PARK
NORTH WEST

OVERVIEW

Waterfall Valley Stairs are the opening section of a longer pathway through the heart of the wildlife park, two sets of stairs separated by a small field.

This area is a gem, thick with plants and wildlife native to the area. Though it's not a set of stairs, we still reccomend you following the boardwalk all the way to the little waterfall at the end.

In addition to the rules of the wider wildlife park (be respectful of the life around you, don;t litter) this is also a quiet area.

GETTING THERE

Street parking near the stairs can be accessed by taking Crowchild to Silver Springs Gate NW. This will turn into Silver Ridge Drive, from which you'll turn left onto Silver Crest Drive directly above the park.

Suggested Parking:

Option 1
There is street parking available in the neighborhoods along the top of the park.

Option 2
There is a parking lot at the official entrance to the park. It would be our first choice, but it can only be accessed from southbound Bearspaw Dam Road NW.

(Google maps doesn't register this, which resulted in a minor traffic violation while scouting the spot)
